Monoclonal Antibody I F5 (Anti-CD2O) Serotherapy of Human B Cell Lymphomas

چکیده
Four patients with refractory malignant B cell lymphomas were treated with continuous intravenous (IV) infusions of murine monoclonal antibody (MoAb) 1 F5 (anti-CD2O) over five to ten days. Dose-dependent levels of free serum 1 F5 were detected in all patients. Two patients had circulating tumor cells and in both cases 90% of malignant cells were eliminated from the blood stream within four hours of initiation of serotherapy. Antigenic modulation did not occur. and sustained reduction of circulating tumor cells was observed throughout the duration of the infusions. Serial bone marrow aspirations and lymph node biopsies were examined by immunoperoxidase and immunofluorescence techniques to ascertain MoAb penetration into extravascular sites. High doses (100 to 800 mg/m2/d and high serum 1F5 levels (13 to 190 g/mL) were required to

Objective regressions of T- and B-cell lymphomas in patients following treatment with anti-thymocyte globulin.
We have conducted a clinical trial utilizing anti-thymocyte globulin (ATG) for the treatment of patients with non-Hodgkin's lymphomas. Six patients were treated; 50% reductions in tumor mass of short duration were observed in one patient with a T-cell lymphoma and two patients with B-cell lymphomas. In vitro assays have been performed in an attempt to study the reactivity and potential mechanis...

متن کاملMonoclonal and Polyclonal Antibodies Specific to Human Fibromodulin
Background: The unique expression of fibromodulin (FMOD) in patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) has been previously reported. Detecting FMOD in CLL patients using specific anti-FMOD mAbs might provide a promising method in detection, monitoring, and prognosis of CLL. Objectives: In this study, we aimed for producing specific antibodies agains...
متن کاملA Novel mAb against a Human CD34 Peptide Reacts with the Native Protein on CD34+ Cells
Background: Human CD34 is a transmembrane glycoprotein which is expressed in human hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs) and the small- vessel endothelial cells of a variety of tissues. CD34 plays a critical role as a marker for diagnosis and classification of leukemia. Anti CD34 antibodies are used for isolation and purification of HSCs from bone marrow, peripheral blood and cord blood. Objective: ...

A monoclonal antibody specific for a common acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) antigen has been generated and characterized. This antibody (J-5) is reactive with leukemic cells from most patients with non-T-cell ALL and some patients with chronic myelocytic leukemia in blast crisis. J-5 antibody is not reactive with leukemic cells from patients with either T-cell ALL, chronic lymphocytic leukem...
